Resham roti is soft silk like flat bread made with wheat flour. Have this with any curry and enjoy.
Ingredients:
1.Wheat flour – 1 cup
2.Potato – 2 medium size
3.Cumin seeds -1/2 tbsp
4.Coriander leaves few
- Chilli flakes
- Salt – 1/4 tbsp
- Oil for roasting
Method:
- Wash thoroughly and boil the potatoes for 10 min( 2 whistle)
- Peel out the skin of potato and grate it.
- Add wheat flour to grated potato,then cumin seeds,coriander leaves finely chopped,chilli flakes, salt .
- Mix well and make smooth dough ,you can add little oil and knead well.
- Cover the dough with wet muslin cloth and let it rest for 15-30 min.
- Make 4- 5 portions of dough.
- Roll the dough into thin layer like chapati then roast it both side by applying oil or ghee.
- Resham roti goes well with red chutney.
