Methi Paratha recipe

Methi paratha is an Indian flatbread cooked with whole wheat flour, spices, and fenugreek leaves, which is also known as methi leaves. Methi paratha is a good breakfast recipe.

Ingredients:
1.Wheat flour -2 cup
2.Methi leaves -1/2 cup( finely chopped)
3.Green chillies – 4
4.Cumin seeds -1 tbsp
5.Carom seeds – 1/4 tbsp
6.Oil-1/4 cup
7.Coriander leaves few
8.Salt -1 tbsp

Method :
1.Make green chillies,cumin seeds fine paste and keep.

  1. 2. Clean and wash the methi leaves then chop it very finely.Never chop and wash any leafy vegetables because the nutrients will be lossed.
    3.Take wheat flour in a pan,add salt chopped methi leaves,chilli and cumin paste,carom seeds,chopped coriander leaves,oil around 3 tbsp.
    4.Make a soft dough adding little by little water.Using warm water makes dough softer easily.
    5.Let it rest for minimum 1 hour.
    6.Make small size 6 to 8 balls.
    7.Roll it with chapati roller and roast it by adding oil both the side.It must be little thick.
    8.Methi Paratha can be served with curd or coriander leave chutney.
