Jackfruit seed vada is tea time snack made out of jackfruit seed and rice flour crispy can be served with chutney.
Ingredients:
1.Jackfruit seeds – 15
2. Rice flour – 1cup
3. Rava – 3tbsp
4. Green chillies – 2
5.Ground nut -3 tbsp (roasted)
6. Curry leaves few
7.Coriander leaves few
8. Ginger 1 inch chopped
9. Salt -1/2 tbsp
10. Oil for frying
Method:
1.Take the jackfruit seed in pressure cooker and cook them for 3 whistles.
2. Cool the seeds in cold water then cut and peel the hard skin and throw it.
3.Make a rough paste in blender it is sticky in nature.
4.Make chillies and ginger into small pieces.
5.Dry roast and crush the peanut.
6. Take a bowl mix rice flour blend jackfruit seeds, rava,salt, ginger ,chillies finely chopped coriander and curry leaves, peanut. Knead well and make dough.
7.Make small patties like vada and fry them in hot oil both sides.
